Quantity of Light:For this photo which I chose to use to demonstrate the quantity of light, it was taken in Av mode. the ISO was set to 200, the aperture was set to f/4.5 and the shutter speed was 1/60. as you cans see, there is a lot of light in this photo, when i first took it, the face of the subject was very dark. to fix this problem, i used a reflector to bring some of the light around him to light up his face. this allowed the light to still frame his face without shrouding it in shadows.
Quality of Light:
The image i chose to represent the quality of light was taken in Av mode. the ISO was set to 200 while the aperture was set to f/6.3 and shutter speed was 1/15. The light source which was behind me really lit up the photo. it didn't cast any harsh shadows and the shadows that did show up were nice and soft. the light. However, I did use flash to enhance the image. this jut added a little bit extra to the face to lighten it up.
